The event at Andaz Singapore marks a new milestone in TCM globalisation through the partnership of Zhongjing Wanxi Pharmaceutical and Science Arts.
Singapore, 28 October 2025 – The prestigious Zhong Jing Global Brand Launch · Singapore took place on 28 October 2025 at Andaz Singapore, celebrating a landmark collaboration between China’s heritage pharmaceutical brand Zhong Jing and Singapore’s trusted TCM name, Science Arts.
The event drew an impressive turnout of over 200 distinguished guests, including healthcare professionals, TCM practitioners, and business partners. Guests were welcomed with a reception wellness tea bar, offering nine floral teas and four herbal blends, setting the tone for an afternoon devoted to health, balance, and cross-cultural exchange.
A Historic Alliance: Zhong Jing x Science Arts
The main event opened with a heartfelt address by Ms. Chan Choy Yeng, General Manager of Science Arts, who remarked:
“Today marks a memorable milestone as we witness the union of Zhong Jing, a China Time-Honoured Brand, and Science Arts, a Singapore Prestige Brand. Together, we open a new chapter in the globalisation of Traditional Chinese Medicine.”

Following her speech, Mr. Ma Yun, General Manager of Zhongjing Wanxi Pharmaceutical, addressed the audience with an inspiring keynote:

Guests were next treated to a Product Showcase Presentation by Mr. Liu Ze Chang, Zhongjing Wanxi Pharmaceutical’s Marketing Director, who introduced a curated range of medical and health food products tailored to the Singapore market – products that reflect modern consumers’ wellness goals and lifestyle needs.
This was followed by an engaging Expert Forum, moderated by Associate Professor Linda Zhong from Nanyang Technological University / Director, NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic and Director, Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine, featuring distinguished panellists:
The panel explored key topics such as the clinical inheritance and modern application of classical TCM formulas, international standardisation, and cross-border talent cultivation between China and Singapore. They also discussed the challenges and strategies behind localisation, brand storytelling, and ensuring the sustainability of authentic medicinal sourcing for global markets.
An Immersive Culinary Experience
After the forum, guests were invited to a special tasting session featuring Zhong Jing’s food innovations such as blueberry jams and various types of sauces. The highlight was a live popiah station helmed by two Andaz Singapore chefs, who created a unique culinary experience using Zhong Jing’s premium mushroom sauce in Original and Spicy flavours.
These sauces, made from premium shiitake mushrooms cultivated for 180 days using a patented production technique, captivated guests with their rich umami depth and craftsmanship. The tasting session provided a delicious and memorable conclusion to an afternoon celebrating health, tradition, and innovation.
